Doctoral Dissertation: "Ilustracje do Iliady w starożytności" (Illustrations of the Iliad in Antiquity), 1927. This dissertation established Bulas as a leading scholar in classical archaeology.Habilitation Work: "Chronologia attyckich stel nagrobnych epoki archaicznej" (Chronology of Attic Funerary Stelae of the Archaic Period), 1935. This work was highly esteemed in academic circles and showcased Bulas’s expertise in Greek funerary art.
Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum: Co-authored three volumes (1931–1936) of this important series under the Polish Academy of Learning, documenting ancient Greek pottery. Volume Pologne 1, in particular, highlights pottery from the Czartoryski Museum collection.
Specialist Article on Miniature Vessels: Published in 1932, this article focused on a distinctive group of miniature vessels, known as the "Bulas group," a term still in use today.

Promotion of Greek Culture: Bulas delivered popular radio talks and published articles in Ilustrowany Kurier Codzienny and its supplements, reaching a broad audience and promoting Greek culture in Poland.Honorary Consul: Served as the honorary consul of Greece in Kraków starting in 1932, reflecting his significant role in fostering Polish-Greek cultural relations.
Diplomacy: Assisted in organizing a ceremony where Greek soil was deposited on the Piłsudski Mound, participated in commemorations, and was honored with Greece’s Royal Order of the Phoenix gold cross for his contributions to Polish-Greek cultural cooperation.
Legacy
Academic Societies: Bulas was a member of several prestigious societies, reflecting his esteemed status in academia. These Include the Polish Numismatic Society, Romanian Numismatic Society (honorary), Polish Academy of Arts' Art History Commission, German Archaeological Institute in Berlin, and the Parnassos Society in Athens.
Enduring Influence: His scholarly work on Greek ceramics, particularly his classification and chronological establishment of a group of miniature vessels, led to these vessels being referred to as the "Bulas group," a term that remains in use today. His contributions to Greek-Polish cultural relations have also left a lasting impact on the fields of archaeology and classical studies.
